War memorial

WWI Remembered - A Memorial Service was held at the War Memorial on 11 July 14 with children from Silkstone Primary School. Children learnt about the lives of two of the men named on the memorial and about the Newhall camp in Silkstone Common. They also learnt about the difference between sun time and clock time with the new sun clock in front of the memorial.
