Yorkshire Ambulance Service are running a defibrillator awareness session which is funded by Silkstone Parish Council so that it is free to all residents.

 Defibrillator units are to be installed in Silkstone at the Huskar Community Rooms and in Silkstone Common at The Station Inn during January 2018 thanks to the community fundraising effort during the summer of 2017 and a grant from the Yorkshire Ambulance Service.


There is a vacancy on the Parish Council which will be filled by Co-option at the January Parish Council meeting on 8 January. If you are interested in the role please read these documents and contact the Clerk for further information.

Thank you to everyone who helped at the summer fair on Saturday
2 September. The weather was kind and lots of residents attended, making the day a big success.  Total funds raised will be posted here in due course.
