Road Safety Poster Competition November 2009.

Silkstone Parish Council invited the pupils from Silkstone Primary School and Silkstone Common Junior & Infant School to enter a Road Safety Poster Competition.

The winning entries came from Kira Rossiter from Silkstone Primary and Joshua Plant-Hately from Silkstone Common J&I School. The winning posters will be printed in the Parish Council newsletter in December 09. Well done to both our winners.

We also had three runners up in the competition all from Silkstone Primary School. Daniel Wade, Alex Baker and Megann Oakley.

The winners will also recieve a £15 book token each and the Runners up will receive a £5 book token each.
