Welcome to the Silkstone Parish Website. The site contains news and information about businesses, community groups, schools and other happenings within the award-winning villages of Silkstone and Silkstone Common in South Yorkshire, England.

To avoid misunderstanding, it may be worth mentioning that the terms 'Parish' and 'Parish Council' refer to the local administrative district, and have no direct connection with the Church. Please see the section on the Parish Council for more information on what it is and does.

The Parish Design Statement and the Parish Plan
The Parish Design Statement.  The document has now been approved by BMBC. The Parish Plan for Silkstone and Silkstone Common, results from a comprehensive consultation exercise.

The Parish Newsletters
